MOIZ MUNSHI
SAIFY TOWNSHIP, INDORE

Requirement
The client envisioned a contemporary, eye-catching residence that stands out within the township while offering maximum comfort and privacy. A three-storey home was required with ample outdoor balconies, parking space, and lush landscaping. The emphasis was on modern aesthetics, organic design language, and energy-efficient planning. Functional spatial zoning for family interaction, privacy for each unit, and strong indoor-outdoor relationships were key to the brief.
Concept Note
The architectural concept for the Moiz Munshi residence was driven by the desire to create a bold, futuristic form that simultaneously offers comfort, privacy, and elegance. The standout feature of the design is the flowing white façade element that wraps around the front elevation, forming dynamic balconies and adding a sculptural quality to the structure. This creates a striking visual identity while also functioning as a shading and privacy device. The clean geometric massing is complemented by soft landscaping and a material palette that blends dark cladding with light tones to emphasize contrast and depth.
Internally, the spatial planning ensures functionality and seamless circulation. The ground level is dedicated to vehicle parking and outdoor entry spaces, while the upper floors are designed as private residential units with generous terraces. Emphasis was placed on natural light, cross ventilation, and connectivity to the outdoors. The design integrates contemporary aesthetics with practical living requirements, offering a harmonious balance of form and function within an urban residential context.
